DJ Ralf Gum from GOGO music played at KEE Club last Saturday and WHAT a night it was! The night was sponsored by Veuve Cliquot champagne which meant that music director Miles Slater & Manager Marc David spent the night dishing out free champagne from massive jeroboams to the appreciative crowd. KEE Club has not been so busy both upstairs and down for a LONG time and it reminded me of how the venue used to be back in the day. I’m hoping that we are seeing a return to form to it’s rightful place as Hong Kong’s most stylish venue now that the music policy has finally moved on from dark, minimal house to something a bit more accessible.
Ralf played a fantastic set of soulful & deep house that had everyone jumping despite it’s 122-124bpm speed. This is the skill of a true master of his craft. I left at 5am and the club was STILL busy.
KEE Club passed out a demo CD as the promo flyer for the event which is really good too. It was really great to have such a great night at KEE again!
