It’s always a pleasure to welcome ‘Sir’ Norman back to Hong Kong and he didn’t disappoint when he played here the other week. It was great to see him on fine form dropping tune after tune while seamlessly covering all musical bases with apparently no effort – a true master at work. Tune of the night for me was ‘Peg’ by Steely Dan which is where De La Soul got the lick from for their famous ‘Eye Know’ Hip-Hop tune from back in the day.
